Adult, Career, and Technology Education (ACTE) is a dynamic academic department at the University of Idaho that produces graduates who are in high demand. ACTE programs prepare leaders, managers, teachers and technologists to work effectively with today's adults, organizations and youth. Theoretically and empirically informed, these programs emphasize practical application critical for success in public and private employment settings. ACTE is comprised of two programs: (1) Adult and Organizational Learning (ADOL) and (2) Professional-Technical and Technology Education (PTTE).
ACTE offers an undergraduate degree in Technology (B.S.Tech.) with a major in Industrial Technology for students who wish to capitalize on their technical and professional skills in industry or business.
