Environmental Studies Program
The Environmental Studies Program consists of an interdisciplinary major offering Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of General Studies degrees for students pursuing the study of the environment. The program provides students with the tools they need to investigate environmental phenomena, including anything from soil sampling and freshwater ecology to policy-making and social science.
Students interested in a more humanities-oriented approach to the environment may pursue a B.A. or B.G.S. Degree, which has an Environment & Culture emphasis. Students who are more interested in a more scientific approach to the environment may pursue a B.S. Additionally, a minor is now available in Environmental Studies.
