Environmental Science Program
The environmental science program has a major emphasis in biology, but requires course work in chemistry and other physical and natural sciences, the social sciences, business and humanities.
The course work in environmental science emphasizes a critical and analytical approach with practical hands-on analytical laboratory skills. Internships are encouraged during the junior and senior years.
A major in Environmental Science provides the student with the prerequisites to enter graduate school, various professional programs (environmental engineering, environmental remediation, environmental law and policy, etc.), environmental education, business and a variety of other careers.
