Earth and Environmental Science Program
Excellent facilities are available for students of science including well-equipped classrooms, a greenhouse for work in biology or botany, a planetarium, and laboratories for biology, chemistry, earth science, physics and photography. Unique opportunities for undergraduate research are available in our aquatic macroinvertebrate and toxicology laboratories – an outstanding asset for students considering graduate work or a career in a commercial laboratory. Programs feature a strong outdoor and field emphasis, and many classes involve field study in local areas. Special scholarships are available for students planning to enroll in a major of mathematics or science.
