Electrical
The
Electrical segment had sales of $4.8 billion in 2007. The business is a
leader in electrical control, power distribution, uninterruptible power
systems and industrial automation products and services. The Electrical
segment provides customer-driven solutions that serve the changing
needs of the industrial, utility, light commercial, residential and
original equipment markets.
Hydraulics
The
Hydraulics segment had sales of $2.6 billion in 2007. The business is
recognized as a worldwide leader in the design, manufacture and
marketing of reliable, high-efficiency hydraulic systems and components
for use in mobile and industrial applications. From massive
earthmovers and agricultural equipment to delicate injection molding
machines, Eaton’s hydraulic systems and components support the needs of
millions of users worldwide. The Hydraulics segment also includes
Eaton’s Filtration, Golf Grip and Airflex industrial clutch and brake
businesses.
Aerospace
The Aerospace
segment, with sales of $1.8 billion in 2007, is one of the industry’s
leading designers, manufacturers and integrators of advanced hydraulic
systems, fuel systems, motion control systems, propulsion sub-systems
and cockpit interface and circuit protection applications for
commercial and military programs. Eaton is the company of choice for a
diverse group of leading OEMs and airlines worldwide. Eaton’s
comprehensive portfolio of premier components has created a new
industry standard of engineering depth and breadth of knowledge that
has resulted in superior systems design and integration capability.
Truck
The
Truck segment, with sales of $2.1 billion in 2007, is a leader in the
design, manufacture and marketing of drivetrain systems and components
for medium-duty and heavy-duty commercial vehicles. In concert with its
manufacturing and marketing partners, Eaton markets the "Roadranger
System" – a complete line of drivetrain components and truck systems,
including manual and automatic transmissions, clutches, driveshafts,
steer and drive axles, trailer axles, tire pressure control systems and
collision warning systems.
Automotive
Eaton's
Automotive segment, with sales of $1.6 billion in 2007, is a partner to
the passenger car and light-truck industry. Principal products include
superchargers, engine valves, valve train components, cylinder heads,
locking and limited slip differentials, sensors, actuators, intelligent
cruise control systems, tire valves, fluid connectors, decorative body
moldings and spoilers.
