Job Description
Recognized leader in the environmental consulting industry, offering diverse services for site investigation and remediation, merger and acquisition due diligence, environmental regulatory compliance, and air quality compliance projects from 140 offices worldwide.

Our client seeks a mid- to senior-level consultant with expertise in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) auditing and management systems to support a growing US and International Fortune 500 client base. Responsibilities associated with this position include:

• Assist the firm’s international team of compliance assurance practitioners by participating in EHS compliance and management system projects; • Consult directly with clients regarding ISO 14001/OSHAS 18001 certification requirements, including program development and compliance assurance; • Manage projects independently within established budget and schedules; • Participate in achieving regional business development goals through meetings and teleconferences, networking/marketing efforts, client face-to-face meetings/presentations, industry conferences, and proposal development; • Mentor more junior staff through training and coaching opportunities;

Requirements: • BS Degree (MS preferred) in Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field. • 7-12 years of EHS experience in consulting or diverse industrial facilities, including compliance, auditing, and management systems experience. • Proven track record in project/client management and business development for large, complex EHS contracts. • Established relationships and a positive reputation within the local consulting industry as well as within the legal and regulatory communities. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience writing detailed EHS policies/programs and technical reports. • Ability to handle multiple assignments within strict project budgets and deadlines. • Availability to travel as-needed to client facilities throughout the region.
