Job Description
Provides support for the ongoing compliance with environmental rules and regulations. Ensures that all control, monitoring, record keeping, and reporting requirements related to the area of responsibility are satisfied. Maintains internal relationships with all refinery personnel and establishes external relationships with regulatory representatives. Interacts and coordinates projects with agencies, consulting firms, and contractors. Provides engineering support as needed for environmental projects. Ensures compliance by developing and/or implementing compliance systems and tools. Provides guidance to address environmental regulations. Specific job duties will focus primarily on air compliance matters, including Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) Program, above ground storage tanks, stack testing and relative accuracy test audits, and environmental incident reporting. Will be assigned specific units for purposes of providing environmental guidance, Management of Change (MOC) review Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering or Science required; BS ChE preferred. A minimum of two yrs related environmental, refining, petrochemical exp req. Exp with state and federal air regulations req.
