Job Description
This newly created position is due to corporate growth and acquisition. The Regional Safety and Health Manager will be responsible for health, safety, government compliance and worker's compensation issues for 9 manufacturing locations throughout a multi-state area.
This is a highly visible position within a major multi-site manufacturing organization. Along with managing current programs, this person will also review safety procedures and focus on continuous improvement projects. This will include working closely with division management and regional human resource professionals to develop and enhance health and safety programs. Requirements:
A minimum of 7 -10 years of experience in health and safety, preferably in a manufacturing environment. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. Experience in managing a multi-site safety program Certification (CSP or ASP) in the safety and health field is highly preferred.
50% travel required This individual must have strong communication, leadership and analytical skills
