Job Description
Global EH&S Manager - #KC-19764 August 2008

Education Required: BS Env Engineering, Chemistry or technically related Years of Experience: 5+ Industry: Manufacturing Location: Kansas

Will be based at the division headquarters and ensure environmental compliance for multiple locations globally. This position will require at least 50% travel to include Europe, China and South Africa. Will provide leadership and oversight for the implementation of programs and ensure compliance with federal, state, local and international environmental regulations. Will address a wide range of environmental issues globally to include waste management, water/wastewater, air emissions (including Title V), hazardous substances and remediation. Will define, maintain and communicate environmental program requirements & expectations; mentor, coach and train EHS operational teams to strengthen the environmental capability and competency; develop effective databases for environmental data; manage environmental integration of newly acquired businesses; manage environmental matters associated with closure of facilities and other projects as assigned.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and knowledge: • Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, DOT, NIOSH and international standards • Strong multi-media environmental experience to include air, waste/wastewater, waste management, hazardous substances and remediation • Interacting with regulatory agencies • Advanced computer skills • International experience and Title V is strongly preferred
