Job Description
Required Degree: BS in Environmental Science or Engineering Required Years of Experience: 2 or more years of similar experience Salary Range: Commensurate Location: West Texas location for a U.S Based company Industry: Chemical plants or Oil refineries preferred
Overview of this role: Serve as an environmental advisor to one or more process units within the chemical manufacturing complex. Interact with plant personnel in order to ensure that operation and maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory and/or plant environmental requirements. Also, potentially serves as a compliance subject matter expert for one or more regulatory areas. SME’s are responsible for the management of specific regulatory program areas and for the outcomes related to those programs.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and knowledge; • At least 2 years of hands-on environmental compliance experience • Experience with regulations and compliance programs within the State of Texas is preferred • Similar work experience within a chemical plant or refinery is a plus.
