Job Description
The North American Gas (NAG) San Juan Performance Unit (PU) Health and Safety Advisor's role is a Farmington, New Mexico operations center based position designed to provide health and safety technical support. The Health and Safety Advisor provides technical assistance to operations center management to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations as well as BP programs and policies.
This position interfaces with operations, engineering, contractors and other HSSE professionals. This position will also assist with the development of programs that will impact the Performance Unit and will require the person to interface with both the Farmington and Durango Operating Centers. In addition, this role will also be a functional lead to facilitate consistent application of policy and lessons learned.
Qualifications
-Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer
-Must not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., TN, H1B status)
-8 to 12 year’s industry experience in Health & Safety
-Experience with upstream operations in the Oil and Gas Industry
