Job Description
Our Consulting Client Company is seeking a Senior Air Quality Engineer or Scientist in its Littleton, Colorado, office to lead the Rocky Mountain Air Quality Permitting and Compliance Practice. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in chemical, mechanical or environmental engineering, environmental science, or a related degree with 12-15+ years of air permitting experience for oil & gas, manufacturing, and other commercial-sector clients. Position will involve program and project management, personnel management, and client relations and requires working in a team setting and strong written and oral communication skills. Preferred candidate will be self-motivated and detail-oriented. Relevant experience includes:

· Primary point of contact/interface with the client (client relationship manager);

· Emissions inventory preparation;

· Preparation of air permits (e.g., construction, PSD, Title V):

· Conducting compliance evaluations;

· Data analysis and interpretation;

· Technical report writing;

· Directing junior staff; and

· Budgeting and scheduling (project and practice operations).

The successful candidate must be a seller-doer with proven client relationships and client management skills. The job holder will be responsible for leading the growth of the Air Quality Practice in the Rocky Mountain region, working with regional management, other practice leaders, and the technical staff to secure and successfully complete projects for clients. Experience in a similar role, and with air permitting in some or all of the following states is also highly desired: Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Wyoming.
