Job Description
Responsibilities The successful candidate will be supervised by senior EHS staff and will rely on instructions and guidance to comply with environmental regulations and company policy. The candidate will eventually be expected to work independently in understanding and implementing environmental laws and regulations, particularly with regard to field implementation of permit and compliance plans related to construction and field operations. The position will support EHS functions in a combined office and field setting including, but not limited to, the following areas:
Spill response and remediation Stormwater inspection and management Noxious Weed Management Wildlife mitigation NEPA mitigation Federal and state agency NOVs and corrective actions Other construction and operations compliance actions as required
The person in this position will eventually have primary responsibility in the following areas: Oversight of field construction and operations activities to verify compliance Environmental and Construction Contractor oversight Preparing and managing reports, spreadsheets and databases Assisting in implementation of new data management systems Coordinating and reviewing migration of data from consultants and contractors into company data management systems Supporting drilling and construction safety programs
Secondary assistance will be provided to Senior Staff in the following areas: Obtaining and updating compliance permits, plans and documents Developing compliance management system protocols and procedures
Qualifications Strong work ethic and desire to learn. Sustain fast paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to details. Candidate must be able to work effectively with a high level of accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This position will require a basic knowledge of commonly-used EHS concepts, practices, and procedures. A bachelors of science degree, a minimum of 2 years experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience relative to EHS is highly desired. Work experience in a field or operations setting preferred. Knowledge of data entry and database management is required, proficiency is preferred.
Significant field work and travel to oversee construction and operations activities will be required. Therefore, a strong background in well field operations and construction activities is preferred. Possession of a valid Colorado driver's license with no serious violations is mandatory.

Relocation Information Williams Corporation will not pay relocation costs for this position.
Travel Percentage 26 - 50 %
