Requirements:
* BS Degree (MS preferred) in Engineering, Chemistry, Safety, Environmental/Public Health or related field. * 3-8 years of environmental consulting/industry/regulatory experience. * Understanding of the US regulatory environment (both Federal and state programs—multimedia desired, but work tends to focus more on air than other media). * Specific experience with regulatory review related to refineries and chemical plants preferred. * Excellent written communication skills focused on the ability to translate technical subjects into business style writing for a non-technical audience. * Extreme attention to detail, thorough research, and intense document review to ensure that all required information is thoroughly and accurately communicated. * Interpersonal skills with the ability to establish client relationships. * Strong computer skills specific to spreadsheet and database applications (i.e. structure and data interconnectivity), internet research, and document management. * Ability to work independently or with a team to accomplish complex tasks. * Flexibility to handle multiple assignments while meeting strict deadlines.
