Job Description
Responsibilities The Safety Representative (SR) is an integral part of the local Area Leadership Team and will report to the Team Lead of Safety and Training in Tulsa. The primary focus for this position is the safety of people, the integrity of company assets, protecting the environment and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This position is primarily responsible for the effective implementation of Midstream's EHS management system - the System Integrity Plan. In addition, the SR will share accountability with area management for the performance of the local work teams relative to the standards in the SIP.
Support, equip, educate, coach, council and encourage operating personnel as required to integrate the SIP into daily operations. Actively lead, facilitate and expedite the implementation and ongoing execution of the SIP. Share accountability with area operations management for performance to established standards. Support operations in the areas of regulatory compliance. Lead the development of the area Compliance Schedules. Ensure the effectiveness of area safety committees and employee safety meetings. Coordinate and participate in regulatory agency inspections and audits, Compliance Audits, Facility Inspections, Emergency Response Drills, Incident Investigations, Hazard Assessments and PHA's. Perform Contractor Safety Inspections and Emergency Response Drill Critiques. Review and critique Incident Investigation reports. Coordinate EH&S efforts during shutdowns, turnarounds and major projects. Identify and document best practices and lessons learned. Participate in the on-going development and improvement of the SIP. Generate Monthly Progress Reports. Qualifications Candidate for Safety Representative Senior must have a Bachelor's degree or 6 years experience plus industry certification. Industry certification includes Certified Occupational Health and Safety Technologist, Certified Safety Professional and Certified Industrial Hygienist.
Candidate for Safety Representative II will have 3 years of experience with degree or certification preferred.

*This position will be filled at the posted level and within the salary range if commensurate to the experience (i.e., skills, knowledge, & abilities) of successful candidate; however if unable to be filled at this level, the position will be filled as an EH&S Specialist II-Safety or EH&S Specialist I-Safety with a respective competitive market based on the experience of the selected candidate. Education Level Two Year College Degree Relocation Information Williams Corporation will pay relocation costs for this position. Travel Percentage 26 - 50 % Fair Labor Standards Act FLSA exempt no overtime pay is due.
