Job Description
Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for managing environmental compliance issues in support of multiple facilities engaged in natural gas gathering and processing located in southwest Wyoming. Experience with air quality issues, regulations, permitting, TITLE V and NSR; SPCC and other spill plan requirements; NPDES issues; and EPCRA/CERCLA and general release reporting is required. The area of responsibility includes assets located in the Southwest corner of Wyoming.

Primary functions of the position include: Prepare reports, correspondence, work plans and permit applications Interpret applicable laws and regulations Provide general environmental assistance to Operations and Engineering staff Negotiate appropriate permit terms and conditions with regulatory agencies Review draft permits and applications with operations staff. Prepare and update SPCC plans Prepare and update of NPDES and other discharge permits/plans. Perform annual compliance reviews with operations staff. Follow-up reporting of spills and releases. Review and interpret new and proposed environmental laws and regulations and provide guidance to management. Performing environmental compliance and due diligence audits and working with and updating an existing Environmental Management Information System (EMIS) database.

Qualifications Experience and detailed knowledge of general environmental issues is required. Knowledge of specific Federal and State environmental laws and regulations as they apply to the natural gas industry is required. Use of PC-based applications (MS Word, Excel, Internet and databases) is required. This position requires a team player with the ability to multitask, to manage shifting priorities, and to follow through on projects with minimal supervision. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

*This position will be filled at the posted level and within the salary range if commensurate to the experience (i.e., skills, knowledge, & abilities) of successful candidate; however if unable to be filled at this level, the position will be filled as an EH&S I, or EH&S Technical Associate with a respective competitive market based on the experience of the selected candidate. Education Level Bachelor's Level Degree Relocation Information Williams Corporation will pay relocation costs for this position. Travel Percentage Less than 25 % Fair Labor Standards Act FLSA exempt no overtime pay is due.
