Job Description
Selected individual will be responsible for monitoring construction contractors, in regards to safety at the GSK (Glaxo Smith Kline) Data Center One project located in Collegeville, PA. The position is also responsible for supporting and educating the Jacobs Project Team and Contractors in regards to safety and the program safety process. Will participate in as many project related meetings as possible to provide safety perspective to the meeting subject. In addition to performing as a Jacobs Project Manager will act as a liaison to the GSK Safety Department. This safety professional needs to possess a minimum of 10 years experience in construction safety and previous design build programs. Experience in educating and building relationships with other contractor personnel required. PC skills to include Internet access, Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint programs. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills. OSHA 500 trained and design build experience strongly preferred.
