Job Description
Region H&S Manager Dallas Nov2007Penske Logistics is seeking a Safety Professional for our Corporate Safety Department in Beachwood, Ohio (Cleveland)
This professional will collaborate with our corporate and field safety teams to enhance and manage our Health and Safety Management System (HSMS). Primary objectives include:
Write and update procedures Consolidate existing procedures Convert existing procedures into a standardized format Develop standard work process templates Develop an assessment and scoring process to determine the effectiveness, compliance, and applicability of policy procedures and work process templates Ensure elements of the HSMS are created and/or updated based on changes in company policy, service offerings, and agency regulations
Requirements for the position include:
Ability to translate thoughts, ideas, concepts, and instructions verbally, and in written form, in a manner that is specific, concise, and easily understood by a variety of audiences Commitment to excellence and the safety profession Effective team building skills Ability to manage multiple projects, establish priorities, & accomplish objectives Proficiency with Microsoft products; Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Analytical and problem solving skills A minimum of 3 years experience Bachelor's Degree Some safety related experience preferred
