Job Description
Our client is a rapidly-growing $3.5 Billion diversified manufacturer of Aerospace Systems, Space Systems and Propellants and Chemicals.
They seek a Safety and Hazards Engineer for their Propellants and Chemicals production facility to:
* Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations as well as adherence to company safety
* Champion quality, safety and efficiency in Hazardous Materials Management processes and practices including in the manufacturing, handling, transportation, storage and disposal of reactive/energetic chemical compounds
* Help assure adherence to Process Safety Management standards (with provided training)
* Perform Process Hazard Analysis and analytical techniques such as Fault Tree Analysis; HAZOP; FMEA and quantitative risk assessment (with provided training)
* Test to validate operational safety concerns identified by analysis
Ideal candidate will hold a technical degree in an Engineering, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry or related discipline and related experperience.
