Job Description
Recognized leader in the environmental consulting industry, offering diverse services for site investigation and remediation, merger and acquisition due diligence, environmental regulatory compliance, and air quality compliance projects from 140 offices worldwide.
Our client seeks a senior-level consultant with expertise in office management as well as technical oversight of environmental consulting projects. This individual would operate at the Senior-Management level in the Site Investigation and Remediation, Due Diligence, Air Quality, Planning or Environmental Compliance Practice of the firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* P&L Responsibility for the Columbus office * Providing leadership in establishing and maintaining billability for branch personnel * Leading and participating in sales calls and competitive proposal presentations * Maintaining budget/schedule expectations and scope of assignments * Maintaining quality on project deliverables * Managing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) / Accounts Receivables * Maintaining and expanding existing client relationships as well as building new client relationships with local and regional industrial clients * Preparing proposals, cost estimates and change orders * Providing environmental, health and safety consulting services to industrial clients * Providing technical and business leadership for existing EHS practice areas * Designing and managing large complex projects and multi-person project teams with limited supervision
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
* BS required, MS preferred; in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related degree * 15+ years of management experience * Proven leadership skills * Proven experience selling/winning large EHS consulting contracts * Demonstrated ability to manage projects over $250,000 and business portfolios over $1,000,000 * P.E. license or relevant professional credential preferred * Excellent writing, computational, and computer skills * Good presentation skills * Advanced regulatory knowledge with proven negotiation skills with regulators * Recognized technical expertise
