Job Description

The primary purpose of the Global Environmental EHS Manager position is to ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local and International Environmental regulatory requirements and provides leadership and oversight for implementing Thermal Equipment and Services environmental, health and safety programs. This global position is responsible for carrying out the strategic EH&S direction of the company and directly supervising the work of EHS Manager – Americas Environmental for manufacturing facilities, major construction projects and client service sites.

The ideal candidate would be experienced in addressing a wide range of environmental issues globally, including those related to waste management, water/wastewater, air emissions, hazardous substances and environmental remediation. The successful incumbent maintains good working relationships with all levels of personnel and will quickly respond to questions and/or concerns related to environmental, health and safety issues. Relies on experience, expertise and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks with minimal direction. A high level of creativity is important in developing unique solutions. Good decision making skills while supporting project management and interfacing with regulatory agencies is necessary. The candidate must be capable of interpreting global regulatory documents.

Qualification: · Advanced technical knowledge of Environmental Engineering/Management through a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental, Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent years of experience. ·A Master of Science degree preferred. ·Five to eight years experience in a heavy manufacturing or construction environment or in Corporate Environmental Management, including: strong knowledge of DOT, OSHA, ANSI, NIOSH, and International Standards. ·Advanced computer skills in a Windows-based platform
