Job Description
Ensure facility compliance with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA Risk Management Plan (RMP) rules. Develop and implement tools and management systems necessary to fulfill the elements of PSM and RMP through coordination with all disciplines in the plant (Safety Champions, Reliability, Engineering, Emergency Response, etc) . Ensure implementation of all required elements are well documented and auditable. Own and audit various existing programs such as Management of Change (MOC) program sitewide. Lead sitewide Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and ensure documentation and follow up is completed. Perform incident investigations as needed. Participate in company cross-site process safety team charged with driving consistency in process risk management. Set and track goals and measures for PSM program improvement. 5+ years experience in a PSM regulated facility. Knowledge of Process Hazard Analysis (PHA). Ability to communicate, lead and facilitate efforts with all disciplines within the facility. Ability to interpret complex regulations. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. Solid problem solving and critical thinking skills.
