MW/MB, LLC., is a privately held company in Clarksville, Tennessee which makes fiberglass for use in the residential roofing market. We are currently searching for candidates to fill the following position:

HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST

This new position will report to the General Manager. This position will provide leadership to the facility in the areas of health, safety & environmental compliance and promote occupational safety and health within the entire organization.

• Provide leadership to the entire plant in the areas of health, safety, and environmental compliance ensuring compliance with all pertinent safety and environmental regulations. • Extensive knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, FM, & EPA standards. • Ability to analyze work environment and design programs to control and prevent illness, injury, or environmental concerns. • Experience in conducting thorough root cause analysis to ensure root cause is eliminated in response to any safety related incident. • Perform and coordinate industrial hygiene testing. • Experience in managing worker’s compensation cases including all required documentation. • Willingness to lead direct associate safety teams. • Audit, document, and file all required safety and environmental permits. • 5+ years of safety and environmental compliance experience in a manufacturing facility. • Proven track record of identifying and reducing all types of safety and environmental incidents. • Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related degree is required.
