Compliance Coordinator Job Opening #8148

Enbridge Energy Company, Inc. a leading energy transportation company in the Midwest, Mid-Continent, and Gulf Coast regions of the U.S., has an immediate need for a Compliance Coordinator. This position will be located at Enbridge’s office in Superior, WI.

Responsibilites: ? Serve as a Government liaison for Regional emergencies ? Contact for DOT, State Office of Pipeline Safety Agencies, State Public Service Commissions and other Regulatory bodies. ? Complete pre-audits in preparation for Regulatory audits. ? Coordinate and Manage Regulatory audits. ? Review Projects from US Engineering and Regions for Regulatory Compliance. ? Act as company representative on internal committees. ? Oversee the maintenance of the US portions of the Operating and Maintenance Procedures Manuals. ? Coordinate multi-Region/Company input to address broad operational/regulatory issues. ? Serve as contact person for getting Regulatory interpretations on specific issues relating to Projects and Operations. ? Estimate Capital Projects and submit budget items. ? Review and advise on Operations Operating and Capital Budgets from the regulatory perspective. ? Provide training/guidance as required to Operational personnel. Qualifications: Candidates must have a 2 or 4-year degree in Engineering or technically related field and a minimum of 8 years of operational pipeline experience as well as working knowledge of Federal Regulations and API and ASME Standards. Must be able to work independently and also to coordinate and manage activities requiring the use of pipeline consultants or contractors.
