Job Description
FIELD SAFETY COORDINATOR
Immediate full-time opportunity for a Field Safety Coordinator. The Coordinator will serve as a technical resource, responsibe for performing in-depth analysis, developing interventions to reduce job losses, provide training & education to employees, perform job site visits & audits, monitor compliance, and track & verify corrective actions are completed in a timely manner. Position reports to Senior Field Safety Coordinator.. Up to 75% travel required.
Candidates should have a BS in Safety Engineeering / Safety Management OR equivalent applied field experience. Must be well- organized, computer literate, self-motivated and a strong communicator. Must be familiar with MSHA / OSHA standards and 30 CFR or 29 CFR. Knowledge of industrial hygeine and MSHA / OSHA Certified Instructor a plus. Prefer experience in mining or heavy civil construction.
