Job Description

This position will lead the Naheola Mill Air compliance program, implementing management systems that are effective in driving environmental excellence for this integrated pulp and paper facility.  Requires proficiency in assessing capital projects / process modifications to determine regulatory implications, with the skills to analyze emissions impact and prepare permit applications / Agency correspondence, if necessary.  Successful applicant will be responsible for preparing all regulatory reports required by the facility Title V Air Permit and demonstrate continuous compliance with State, Federal and Corporate requirements and standards.  Individual will be expected to provide site auditing and inspections, help employees understand their environmental obligations and maintain a strong working relationship with regulatory agencies and the community.
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Chemical, or Civil engineering or other related discipline.
  • 5 or more years of recent air environmental experience, preferably in the pulp and paper industry. 
  • Air Permitting Experience.
 
Knowledge-Skills-Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, able to work with all levels of the organization, ability to build partnerships, computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
